Nordex Secures Mega Order in Germany: 64 Wind Turbines for a Sustainable Energy Future

Large Order for Nordex: Driving Renewable Energy Forward

The wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has received a significant mega order from Germany, reflecting the increasing demand in the field of renewable energy. This order could have positive effects on the company’s performance and stock price.

Details of the Order

Nordex has been commissioned by UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG) to supply a total of 64 wind turbines that are expected to achieve a total output of 435.2 megawatts. The order includes 52 units of the type N175/6.X and 12 units of the type N163/6.X. These turbines will be installed at various locations in Germany, primarily in the new federal states. Commissioning is scheduled between 2026 and 2027, depending on the specific site.

Long-Term Cooperation

In addition to delivery, Nordex will also take care of the maintenance of the systems over a period of 20 years. This ensures stable and long-term predictable revenues. The order complements an already existing contractual arrangement between Nordex and UKA. In the last one and a half years, UKA has ordered more than 200 units with a total capacity of around 1.5 gigawatts from Nordex, making UKA one of the company’s largest customers.

Positive Market Development

The announcement of this large order has already led to a positive reaction in the stock market: The price of Nordex shares rose slightly in morning trading and was noted just above 17 euros. The stable order situation underscores Nordex’s growth potential in renewable energies, given the increasing investments in wind power projects.

In summary, this mega order not only demonstrates the trust of a major customer like UKA in Nordex’s products and services but also strengthens the company’s financial base through long-term maintenance contracts and a solid pipeline of future projects in the German market.
