A Year of Superlatives for BDT Media Automation
BDT Media Automation achieved a record revenue of 174.0 million euros in the fiscal year 2024, representing a growth of 34 percent compared to the previous year. EBITDA rose by an impressive 78 percent to 20.7 million euros, improving the EBITDA margin from 8.2 percent to 11.6 percent. The net profit nearly doubled to 9.3 million euros, also a record compared to the previous year’s approximately 4.6 million euros.
Financial Strength through Significant Increase in Equity
Another noteworthy development is the significant increase in equity from 6.8 million to 16.5 million euros and a rise in the equity ratio from about 15% to around 28%. This strong financial development underscores the robust growth of the company and its positive perception in the industry.
Growth Driver Digitalization
The ongoing digitalization and increasing demand for energy-efficient archiving solutions are identified as key growth drivers. BDT Media plans to further leverage this momentum with the introduction of a new cloud solution called “Orion” to meet the growing demands for reliable archiving systems.
