Friedrich Vorwerk Secures Major Contract in Pipeline Construction

Friedrich Vorwerk has recently received a significant major contract that further solidifies its strong market position in pipeline and plant construction. The gas transmission network operator Gasunie Deutschland has commissioned the company as part of a consortium to construct the energy transport pipeline ETL 182.

A Major Project with Vision

The contract includes the construction of an 86-kilometer gas pipeline that is to run between Stade and Achim. With a contract volume in the medium three-digit millions range, this project demonstrates the ambitious plans of Friedrich Vorwerk and its partners.

Collaboration with Strong Partners

The implementation of this major project will take place in collaboration with Bohlen & Doyen and partners from the Austrian HABAU Group. Preparatory construction works are expected to begin in the second half of 2025, while the main construction measures are planned to start in 2026. The commissioning of the pipeline is scheduled for 2027.

The goal of the project is to connect the new LNG terminals in Brunsbüttel and Stade/Bützfleth to the national gas transmission network, thereby contributing to supply security in Germany.

Stock Price Soaring

Due to positive developments, the stock of Friedrich Vorwerk has already increased by about 160 to over 170 percent since the beginning of the year. The recent major contract has further fueled the euphoria on the stock market, pushing the share price to a new all-time high of around 72 euros. The project not only highlights the company’s strong market position but also strengthens investor confidence in the growing investment program in gas infrastructure.
